UFC Star Believes Mike Tyson's Sparring Video Was 'Fake'

Former UFC middleweight fighter Chael Sonnen recently made some bold allegations on boxing legend Mike Tyson. The former took to social media on Wednesday and decided to take a jab at the former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson.

Chael Sonnen had accused him of faking a recent training video to promote his upcoming boxing match against Jake Paul. In order to promote the bout, Mike Tyson posted a video on X (formerly Twitter) of him hitting the mitts with a caption reading, “It’s Day 1 … the fun has just begun.”

Chael Sonnen drops bombshell on Mike Tyson’s sparring video

It seems that Chael Sonnen is not convinced that Tyson actually had a sparring session. He accused the boxing legend of faking the workout.

“In the future, if you’re ever going to spend five seconds hitting mitts, as a way of making the audience believe you’re doing a training session, make sure you splash water on your face and T-shirt first,” Sonnen wrote on X.

Sonnen further noticed that ‘Iron Mike’ wasn’t sweating at all in the video clip he posted and that’s why he argued that the video clip was fabricated.

Mike Tyson is set to step into the ring on July 20 against Jake Paul and this will mark the first time since 2005 that he fights professionally, bringing the 50–6 record to the table. Well, even at the age of 57-year-old, Mike Tyson is in great shape and can do wonders against Jake Paul.
