Shock-waves were sent into the entire MMA world when UFC president, Dana White posted a picture with former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar wore a UFC t-shirt in the picture and thus, sudden speculations about his UFC return started. There has been even greater speculation about who Lesnar is going to face on his return to octagon. The current UFC heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic’s wife, Ryan Marie Miocic apparently wants her husband to welcome Lesnar back to the UFC.
Lesnar is a pro-wrestler, former American football player and a former NCAA division 1 wrestling champion. He became the WWE’s youngest world champion and on his return stint with the company, he was forever etched into pro-wrestling history when he broke The Undertaker’s undefeated Wrestlemania streak. Lesnar who made his name in the sport of professional wrestling with the WWE, had famously switched sports to MMA and had conquered the UFC 265-pounds belt. “The Beast Incarnate” has a MMA record of 5-3-1 and is currently under contract with the WWE. He is also WWE’s current Universal champion. However, if rumours are to be believed then Lesnar is going to drop the title to Roman Reigns at this year’s wrestlemania. With his WWE contract coming to an end in a few months, Lesnar is again expected to switch pro-wrestling for MMA.
On the other hand, Miocic is currently “The Baddest Man on the Planet”. He recently made history by successfully defending his title for a record third consecutive time. This feat has made many fans and pundits alike to consider him the greatest heavyweight of all time.
Miocic’s next title defense is a super-fight against the UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier at UFC 226. However, Miocic’s wife, Ryan is seemingly quite eager to watch her husband fight the former champion. She posted a meme on Instagram implying her intentions for Miocic to have a super-fight against Lesnar. Here’s the meme posted by Ryan:
Miocic has turned out to be a decent draw and a potential super-fight with Lesnar might be the biggest heavyweight battle the sport has ever seen.
