T.J. Dillashaw will defend his belt for the first time at UFC 227 in a rematch against arch rival Cody ‘No Love’ Garbrandt.
Going into an another bout with Garbrandt, Dillashaw is fairly confident of exploiting holes in Garbrandt’s game.

“I love getting rich for knocking Cody out,” Dillashaw said with a smile during a media luncheon. “I think there’s a lot of holes I didn’t show as well in his game when I finished him in the second round,” Dillashaw said. “I still believe those same openings will be there. I don’t think he’s an intelligent fighter to switch up what he does.”
“It’s a lot different this time,” Dillashaw said. “He can’t be such a jerk – he just got finished. For as much crap as he talked, he deserves to get his ass kicked again.”
Dillashaw understands the fact that keeping trash talk aside, defending the belt is his only goal.
“Defending your belt is all you need to get motivated,” Dillashaw said. “I’m one of those guys that always has to be pulled back for being in the gym. I’ve lost it once and wasn’t happy about it, so I’m never going to let it happen again.”
