After taking part in the New York City Pride festival alongside her fellow fighters from the UFC, Sijara Eubanks has her eyes set on the UFC Women’s Flyweight championship.

Eubanks, who holds a record of 3-2 to her name, made her UFC debut against Lauren Murphy a couple of weeks back at UFC Fight Night 131. She secured a unanimous decision victory over Murphy at the event and started her UFC run on the right note. With a shallow Flyweight division, Eubanks thinks that she is close to the title.
“[Montano] She’s been sitting on that belt for six months now with no title defences. So the timing might not work out. If she ever gets around to signing the contract, we’re talking, it will probably be August at the earliest when they fight, and who knows who long it is going to be after that? So do I sit out and wait for the winner? I don’t want to sit for too long. I’m going to get together with my team and we’re going to talk things out,” Eubanks said.
Current champion Nicco Montano has not fought after winning the flyweight title back in December 2017 when she defeated Roxanne Modafferi.
