After defeating Demetrious Johnson, Henry Cejudo was quick to call-out whoever won the main-event of UFC 227. UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw had been wanting a super-fight against the flyweight king “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, though Johnson had refused the fight due to the UFC not meeting his wage demands. Cejudo did the unexpected by not only winning the flyweight belt from Johnson but also by challenging Dillashaw for a super-fight at Bantamweight.
Dillashaw later in the post-fight press interview accepted the fight. Cejudo was recently interviewed by TMZ Sports. In the interview, he was asked about a rematch with Johnson and about a potential fight with Dillashaw. Here’s what he had to say:
Yeah, let’s make it happen baby. Wherever, whenever, I am ready for the showdown now.
[On whether “Mighty Mouse” should retire or not] Both (laughs). No, no. I’m kidding. He is going to come back stronger and as a competitor I know that it is going to be a dangerous Demetrious Johnson.
Make sure you tag him on this. I want to make money and I want to make history again! If that’s what he said then we are going to do it. Let’s pick a date.
