The upcoming UFC Fight Night referred to as UFC Vegas 54 features a fight between Former light heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz and rising contender Alexander Rakic in the main event.
This is Blachowicz’s first fight since his loss to Glover Teixeira at UFC 267 in October in 2021t. In that fight, Jan lost his heavyweight title as he suffered a rear naked choke submission loss in the second round.
On the other hand, Aleksandar Rakic is coming off of a decision win over Thiago Santos at UFC 259 in March of 2021. Rakic is currently riding on a two-fight winning streak as prior to the Santos fight, he had defeated Anthony Smith at UFC Fight Night 175.
