UFC’s Twitter account trolls undefeated welterweight Ben Askren

The UFC’s latest big name signing Ben Askren, the former Bellator MMA and One FC welterweight champion, is all set to face the former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and make his octagon debut at UFC 235. However, Askren recently noticed and tweeted out that the official UFC website still has a blank outline in place of his picture. He asked the UFC to fix this issue. Though, the UFC’s official Twitter account instead ended up trolling Askren.

Askren currently holds a professional MMA record of 18-0; (1 NC). He is also a former Olympian, having represented the U.S.A. in the freestyle wrestling at the 2008 Olympic games.

Askren asked the UFC to fix their error. The UFC’s Twitter account was quick to respond by posting a picture which was captioned as, “Fixed it”. However, the UFC’s Twitter account replaced the generic blank outline, with a black outline of Askren and not with an actual picture of him. Askren though took the banter with fun and himself replied with a classy tweet.

Below is the initial tweet by Askren:
