Diaz has already expressed his issues with the fight. He revealed publically that he wants a new 165-pound division in the UFC. This initially raised doubts about the fight being cancelled. And now, the tweet has resulted in many more questions among the UFC fans as it is expected to put him under the USADA scanner once again.
After a long break
Currently holding a record of 19-11, Diaz last fought against Conor McGregor at UFC 202. The fight took place back in August 2016 which means that he has been out of action for more than two years. The 33-year-old is 3-2 in his last five fights with wins over Conor McGregor, Michael Johnson and Gray Maynard while he suffered losses to Conor McGregor, and Rafael Dos Anjos.
