Bellator 221 took place at the Allstate Arena in Illinois, United States. The entire fight card was filled with a couple of good fights and there were also some spectacular knockouts. One of such knockouts took place in the Co-main event which featured top Bellator welterweight contender Douglas Lima and rising Bellator fighter from United Kingdom Michael ‘Venom’ Page.
This was a wild fight and was entertaining while it lasted. In the opening round, Page started the round like his usual self using low guard and impressive footwork inside the Octagon. However, Lima got a breakthrough later in the round when he successfully managed to score a takedown Page. They both sat in the same guard until the round was over.
In the second round, however, Page started strong as he threw an extremely beautiful spinning kick then followed by a right hand which seemed to have hurt Lima a bit, but Lima then threw a beautiful leg kick which made Page trip then Lima followed it up with an extremely clean uppercut which knocked out Page unconscious.

This was probably one of the best knockouts in Bellator this year. Lima will now go on to the finals of the Welterweight Grand Prix where he will face the winner of Rory MacDonald vs. Neiman Gracie.
