Jon Jones was last arrested in the September of 2021. Jones was arrested by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department the day after he was inducted into the UFC Hall of Famer. Jon was charged with misdemeanour battery domestic violence and felony tampering with a vehicle. Jon Jones then applied for bail later that day and was released from custody. It was also revealed that he had physically assaulted his fiancee Jessie Moses. Jones faced a lots of issues after this incident. Many fans had demanded UFC to release Jones, but the promotion decided to stick with him. He was also removed from his long-time gym Jackson Wink MMA.

Recently it was reported that Jon Jones is finally getting free from the charges put on him after his arrest at the Las Vegas Hotel. Jones had pled no contest to a misdemeanour charge of destruction of property with a value of $25-250, according to court documents. The court has also said Jones to stay out of trouble and has ordered Jon to pay $750 restitution to the victim and get counselling for anger management, according to Clark County (Nev.) court records.

Now several months after that incident the original video of Jon Jones getting arrested has been released.

On Tuesday, the Las Vegas Review-Journal obtained police bodycam footage of Jones’ arrest where he headbutted a police car (at the 3:09 mark) and reportedly left a “medium-size dent” and chipped the paint. During the arrest, Jones is heard calling one of the officers a “nerd” and asking “A black man can’t drink?” as he accused the officers of racial profiling.

In one of his interviews, Jon Jones said that he wanted to fight the winner of Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane’s title fight. Now since Francis has won the fight between him and Jones makes sense.

“I’m looking to fight somewhere in April, possibly Madison Square Garden, or a total opposite date, possibly July at International Fight Week,” Jones told Albuquerque, N.M., TV station KRQE. “Those are the two dates that I’m kind of eying. I think it’ll depend on who wins in January between Francis Ngannou and Ciryl Gane, and we’ll just take it from there.”

Now Jon Jones in his recent tweet had proposed a fight against the former heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic.

“The greatest heavyweight of all time versus the greatest light heavyweight, who wants to see it? I’m game”
