Bhuwaneswar Panthers is the Odissa Franchise for Boom MMA – IPFL and this team was the 1st runner up in Boom’s last event which took place in Stadel Hotel, Kolkota. Through a press release this team has claimed to have taken the responsibility of sponsoring athlete Vishal Balmiki with a monthly stipend.
Team Operator of Bhuwaneswar Panthers, Dr.Swastik Pattanaik, has taken this initiative. Last week Vishal received his 1st stipend from Bhuwaneswar Panthers and it will go on every month until the deal is over. With addition to this Dr. Swastik Pattnaik and Bhuwaneswar Panthers will also sponsor his travel, stay and food for his upcoming NoGi tournament which is the Asian Open organized by Sports Jiu Jitsu India Federation from June 14-16 2019 in Delhi.
Vishal had an impressive debut and was the 1st person to win via arm triangle in Boom.
