The former legendary boxing world heavyweight champion Iron Mike Tyson even in his retirement is still one of the most feared and scary people on the planet. Iron Mike may or may not have that rock-solid as tough as titanium tough chin but he still has extremely heavy hands.

Tyson arguably still has more pure punching power than any MMA fighter (Yes, probably even more than Francis Ngannou), and to make things scarier and even more exciting for his fans, Tyson has been training hard to get back in the ring and is currently in amazing shape. Apparently, former PRIDE Middleweight champion, The Axe Murderer Wanderlei Silva has already accepted a fight with him.

Mike Tyson vs Wanderlei Silva?

The jury is still out on who should fight Mike Tyson. Fans and pundits alike have been wondering, speculating and contemplating for days on who might potentially be the former boxing legend’s next opponent. However, Mike Tyson is apparently being paid a hefty sum of more than $20 Million to compete in a bare-knuckle boxing match by the promotion, BareKnuckle Fighting Championship.

In a recent interview that BKFC President Dave Feldman gave to MMA Fighting. He spoke that one of the potential opponents that they are looking for to face Iron Mike is MMA’s legendary Wanderlei Silva. Here’s what he had told MMA Fighting:

I think a Wanderlei Silva, someone of that nature. No matter how old Silva gets, he’s dangerous, and I think that would be an intriguing matchup. Something like that, but I don’t actually have anything in mind right now.

Silva later spoke to a Brazilian combat sports outlet called TATAME.com. He told them that he has already agreed to fight Tyson for a big payday, “I was offered the fight and I accepted right away.”

Tyson and Silva are both out of their prime and will be competing in a newer sport. Thus, this outing might not a great idea for both of them, but the money involved will definitely change their minds.
