WATCH: Anderson Silva’s Son wins Muay Thai debut via TKO

Gabriel Silva, Anderson Silva’s son, is walking on the path of his father as he gained a confident TKO win in his combat sports debut.

MMA veterans have paved the way for the next new wave of MMA fighters, and one of the greatest rewards is being able to pass the baton on to a family member. In this case, Silva gives the honor to his son, who won his first ever Muay Thai fight last Saturday, June 15 at WCK 35 in southern California. The young Silva beat his opponent, Nick Navarro during the second round in a light heavyweight bout.

The English translation of Anderson Silva’s post said the following :

‘This is your achievement, my son. It is proof that every dedication has its recognition, it’s the fruit of much struggle and determination, it is only the first step to a life full of merit, you can be sure !!! Now it’s [time to] focus, keep training hard, the secret is to always do it for love !! Congratulations … I’m proud, I’ve seen a lot of myself today in you, I’m happy and I think the certainty that I can really stop is closer! I love you Son … Bad Boys’.

We might one day see Gabriel Silva in the Octagon!
