Don’t we all love sensational finishes, it is part and parcel of the exciting world of combat sports. While over the years people have gotten used to watching instant flash knock outs, it is not exactly the same case when it comes to submissions. Submissions and ground game is often ignored or looked down upon by many of the casual fans because it is not considered to be as aesthetically pleasing to the eye. However, at Bellator 225, fans were wowed and awed by a shocking flash eleven second submission win by Aviv Gozali.
Gozali is a young talented up and comer in Bellator MMA’s welterweight division. The young prospect has now improved his professional MMA record to 3-0 with this impressive yet short outing at Bellator 225.
Gozali came out running towards his opponent Eduard Muravitskiy and after closing the distance he went and grabbed his left left leg with a beautiful Imanari roll as he dragged him down to the ground, before locking in a heel hook and securing the victory with a tap.
