Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley trained together ahead of their fight at UFC 235. At the pay-per-view, Woodley will defend his title against Kamaru Usman. On the other hand, Ben Askren will be making his long-awaited debut in UFC against Robbie Lawler. Before he debuted in the Octagon, however, he debuted a new rap for Tyron Woodley in front of the media.
The rap song was hilarious and it was understandable that it was Askren who came up with it. The two fighters have shown quite a lot of camaraderie in recent weeks. Be it in making fun of Kamaru Usman or writing a rap, or training together, a form of bond has developed between these two fighters.
Following #UFC235 open workouts, @BenAskren debuted a specially written rap song from @TWooodley. 🎤🎤

After the rap was over, Askren admitted that when he sent a message to Woodley asking for a rap song, he immediately sent lyrics back. Woodley admitted that he was good at writing rap, but was not so good at freestyling.
Ben Askren has a lot more to prove in front of the UFC audience this coming pay-per-view. Traded into the company in exchange of Demetrious Johnson, he has challenged almost each and every fighter who is on the roster. He will be hoping to pick up a win here.
