The UFC light heavyweight contender Corey Anderson who is all set and ready to take on the dangerous up and comer Johnny Walker, who has sort of become the division’s boogeyman and fight to avoid. However, Anderson has a plan to defeat Walker and recently gave detailed insights to everyone about this strategy.
Anderson in a recent interview given to MMA Fighting told them that about the gameplan. He revealed that he believes are intimidated by Walker’s tall and long frame, and by his fancy feints, thus leaving themselves open to shots instead of being more aggressive. Here’s what he had to say:
I will fight anybody, I will fight Johnny Walker’s unbeatable like as if he is undefeated. But if you actually do your research and realise that he has been knocked out twice from just one shot. You know what I mean. He has also been out grappled and submitted. People see his height and his feints and his flashes and they kind of get timid. They do not want to go in and get hit and that is when it opens up the door for him to jump straight up down the middle or hit you with a spinning back fist. So I am just going to catch him, you just gotta be away, I have got to be smart and be a mixed martial artist who mixes it up.
