The much-awaited UFC 232 has been shifted from Las Vegas from the state of Nevada to Los Angeles, California after a very abnormal finding in his drug test forced the Nevada State Athletic Commission not giving Jon Jones a license to compete for this weekend’s mega fight against Alexander Gustafsson.

According to ESPN, the USADA determined Jones’s positive test this time around was because of a residual amount of the substance that lingered in Jones’s system from 2017. However, Nevada didn’t want to rush the investigation and decided against granting Jones a license thus the big decision of UFC shifting the entire card from sin city to Inglewood.

However, the president of UFC, Dana White believes that Jon Jones is completely innocent and that’s the reason for moving the card to a completely new location.

There’s no bigger (expletive)-up in the history of the UFC than Jon Jones,” White said. “Let’s be honest, OK? When you have a guy that’s like Jon Jones, how many people do you really think are going to put their reputation, the UFC’s reputation, the California State Athletic Commission’s reputation, Jeff Novitzky’s reputation, USADA’s reputation – the list goes on and on – on the line for a guy who has (expletive) up as much as Jon Jones? Everybody here and everybody I just mentioned 100 percent believes Jon Jones is innocent.

However, UFC is taking a massive loss for taking this abrupt decision, according to Dana White, he expected the UFC 232 gate in Las Vegas to be around $6 Million, but now a sudden change in venue will net around $1 Million at the gate. A massive loss of $5 million.

You know I’m not afraid to cancel a fight,” White said. “I’m not going to move a whole (expletive) event to Los Angeles because we need Jon Jones to fight on Saturday because money, or we need … none of that (expletive). Jon Jones has trained for this fight. Gustafsson has trained for this fight. This fight needs to happen in this division. This fight should happen, and it’s going to happen because he didn’t do anything wrong.

This move from UFC to abruptly move one of the biggest fight cards of 2018 will be a nightmare for the fans who have shelled out a lot of money to attend this mega event.
