Derrick Lewis is surely among the front runners in throwing verbal jibes and silencing his opponents with his verbal jibes. Be it “My balls were hot” or “Popeyes chicken”, Lewis has always given us a dose of his unintentional humour. This time around it was veteran journalist Ariel Helwani who was on the receiving end of Lewis’ uncanny humour.

While Helwani was hosting the 29th episode of Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show from the same brand new studio in Connecticut that he ushered into new year with, “The Black Beast” appeared as a guest. He went on to talk about his last fight with DC, his new home along with his upcoming fight against Junior Dos Santos.
Like always Lewis had a terrible internet connection and the Skype call had to be shifted to a voice call. During the telephonic conversation when Helwani changed his voice to be on the sweeter side for Lewis, he received a hilarious threat of having been allegated with “MeToo”.
I tried to have a moment with @Thebeast_ufc today.
It didn’t work.
