The extremely popular loved and well admired UFC women’s flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko is not just known for her deadly fighting skills and for being arguably currently the most dominant champion in the UFC, but also for her killer dance moves. She is famous not just for gorgeous dance moves outside the octagon but also for celebrating all her victories by dancing inside the octagon. However, ESPN has now apparently found a challenger to Shevchenko and her dance moves in the form of the #2 ranked UFC women’s flyweight fighter Katlyn Chookagian.
Shevchenko is extremely dominant and has a professional MMA record of 18-3, whereas Chookagian has a record of 12-2 and is gradually working her way up towards a potential title shot against Valentina in the future.
Chookagian last fought and defeated Joanne Calderwood at UFC 238 back in June. On the other hand, Shevchenko has been a busy champion and has already defended her title with relative ease twice already this year. She just fought over the last weekend defeating Liz Carmouche in a rematch. Thus, avenging an old loss via TKO due to a doctor’s stoppage.
ESPN MMA posted a video on Twitter in which both Shevchenko and Chookagian can be seen dancing. In this supposed dance battle, ESPN further promoted it by captioning that people believed Valentina will never find a challenger….
