It goes without saying that UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is one of the most dominating fighters in the UFC. He has the best grappling in the UFC right now.
He is undefeated for a reason and over the years has compiled a professional record of 27-0 and recently in his last fight, he completely mauled and destroyed former UFC lightweight and bantamweight champion, Conor McGregor.
However, if anyone deserves credit for moulding Khabib Nurmagomedov into a beast that he is then that person should be his father Andulmanap Nurmagomedov.
A hands-on-hand video of Khabib and his father grappling was posted by AKA head coach Javier Mendez (via Instagram):
“Coach one more time and of course the results are the same when [Khabib Nurmagomedov] grapples with the greatest challenge, his father [Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov]. Father knows best.”
Khabib Nurmagomedov is rumoured to defend his UFC lightweight champion Dustin Poirier at UFC 242 which will take place on September 7 in Abu Dhabi. Last month in an amazing five rounds of war, Dustin Poirier defeated UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway who moved up in weight class at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia to fight for the interim lightweight title.
Who do you think wins in the fight between Khabib and Dustin?
