The UFC recently posted a video of McGregor’s sensational 13 second knockout of the legendary former UFC and Strikeforce featherweight champion Jose Aldo. The video also brilliantly showcased the finish from every different camera angle possible and only added to the hype around McGregor’s much awaited return at UFC 246.
McGregor is all set and ready to make his return to fighting this month. He last fought and brutally lost to the current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov via submission due to a neck crank in the third round at UFC 229. McGregor got a long medical suspension and then failed to get booked for a comeback fight. Thus, he has been sitting on the sidelines since October of 2018.
On his octagon return in the main event of UFC 246, McGregor is set to face a UFC and MMA veteran Donald Cowboy Cerrone. This is a dream matchup for not just MMA and UFC fans, but also for all combat sports fans around the world.
McGregor has always been one of the UFC’s biggest cash cows and is legitimately the biggest star in the history of the sport of MMA. Thus, while almost all his fights sell themselves without any extra coverage or additional promotion, the UFC still has been trying their best to hype up fans even more for Mystic Mac’s return. Hence, this led them to release a promotional video on Twitter and their other social media platforms as well, which is basically a highlight video of McGregor’s famous 13 second knockout of Jose Aldo.
