Anthony “Rumble” Johnson was a hard hitting light heavyweight during his successful run in the UFC. Known for his knockout prowess, Johnson is now aiming to return to the UFC as a heavyweight.

A new video of him training has emerged and he looks an absolute giant in it. Check out the video below (h/t MMASound).

Rumble started his journey in the UFC as a welterweight back in 2007. He was one of the biggest welterweights to step foot inside the Octagon. He also had a hard time cutting weight and missed weight twice. Consequently he moved up to middleweight. At UFC 142, Johnson was slated to fight Michael Bisping. However, owing to a horrific weight cut, he weighed in at 197 pounds, making it one of the biggest weight misses in UFC history.

After losing to Bisping, he was cut from the UFC. He then went on a successful run in Titan FC and WSOF as a light heavyweight. This made the UFC take note of him and hence he was resigned as a light heavyweight. Rumble left his past agonies behind and went on a tear in the 205 pound division.

He would go on to challenge Daniel Cormier twice for the belt. However, he came short on both the occasions and subsequently announced his retirement from fighting. Since the heavyweight division division is not very deep right now, it is safe to assume that Johnson can get into the title mix fairly quickly.
