Henry Cejudo is the current UFC Flyweight champion. And his journey towards the championship has been nothing short of inspirational.
For the uninitiated, after a successful Olympics campaign which saw him win the Gold Medal for wrestling, Cejudo embarked on his MMA career back in 2013. He went undefeated for three years and piled up ten straight victories including four in the UFC.
Cejudo then got derailed by Demetrious Johnson who stopped Cejudo in the first round itself. Cejudo suffered yet another setback later that year when he lost out to Joseph Benavidez via decision.
The American then staged one of the most inspiring comebacks which saw him pick up two straight victories over Wilson Reis and Sergio Pettis. This earned him a rematch against Demetrious Johnson which he went on to win via a split decision. The win also took him to the top of the division.
And now, a YouTube channel called MME Productions has come out with an inspiring video covering this journey towards the title. So if you are having a bad day with no inspiration, here is a video you should check out.
