CM Punk and his old friend Colt Cabana are on trial against one of WWE’s Doctors, Dr Chris Amann. During this trial, Punk was asked to reveal what his initials meant while under oath.

What does “CM” in CM Punk really stand for?

Over the years, people have tried to decipher what the “CM” in CM Punk’s name really stood for. Many believed that the initials stood for “Chicago Made”.

However, in the on-going trial against Chris Amann, Punk had to reveal the real meaning behind the initials. The initials actually stand for “Chick Magnet”, according to Punk.

For those unaware, in his early days in the professional wrestling business, Punk used to go by “Chick Magnet Punk”. However, he made it shorter as time went by and its reality became a mystery to everyone.

In an interview last year, AJ Lee revealed that the initials in her husband’s name were kept a mystery by her husband.
