The Hulkster and the WWE have not been on the same page ever since a tape of Hogan going on a racist rant was released. However, the storm has passed and Hogan has done notable work to build back his tarnished reputation.

The Hulkster’s return to the company is almost a done deal

TMZ Sports has reported that WWE and Hulk Hogan are in talks for a potential return and the talks have been positive. Apparently, the Hulkster was one of the talents requested for the Greatest Royal Rumble but he couldn’t make it for obvious reasons.

Interestingly, WWE now wants to bring Hogan back and he is ready to do so. However, WWE wants to make sure its done the right way and sympathize with all the sentiments that were hurt by Hogan’s comments.

Additionally, WWE is paying close attention to Hulk Hogan’s speech at the Boys and Girls Club of America. TMZ reached out to WWE for a statement on Hulk Hogan’s efforts to build back his reputation by working with BGCA:

WWE applauds the work Hulk Hogan is doing with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to turn what was a negative into a positive by helping young people learn from his mistake. While he has taken many steps in the right direction since we parted ways, Hogan is not currently under contract to WWE.

Here’s Hogan’s speech from the event in which he talked about righting his wrongs by working with the Boys and Girls Club of America and guiding the youth away from the mistakes he made:

Hogan’s efforts deserve appreciation and his mistakes should be forgiven, now that he has repented for them. Therefore, a return to the WWE is absolutely imminent at this point and there’s no denying it.

It’s not a matter of ‘if any more, it’s a matter of ‘when’.
