On 27th April, WWE is going to hold a massive event under the name of “GREATEST ROYAL RUMBLE”. This event marks a deal between The Saudi government and WWE. Therefore, Vince McMahon is leaving no stone unturned to make this one of the best event in recent memories.

The event will be held on 27th April at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. No less than eight Championship matches have already been confirmed for the events. Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler will be doing the commentary work

The match between Rusev and The Undertaker was certainly unexpected, especially as it was a casket match. Though Rusev got replaced by a returning Chris Jericho as the opponent of The Undertaker, the match actually got more interesting.

The most important match in the event is obviously the Greatest Royal Rumble. Though WWE can probably manage the number of wrestlers from their active roster alone, fans want surprises.

While NXT talents will be a welcome surprise, returning legends are the surprises fans want to see. If the reports from PWInsider can be believed, Rey Mysterio will return to WWE at the Greatest Royal Rumble.

Rey Mysterio is certainly one of the most beloved wrestlers of the twenty-first century. This wrestler is the first luchador to get famous and win the World Championship in WWE. He was so universally beloved that he had to be kept out of the WCW invasion angle as fans will not jeer him.

After leaving WWE in less than amicable terms in 2014, Rey Mysterio returned at the Royal Rumble 2018 and was among the final six contestants. It was an one night surprise though, and Rey was never seen again.

Rey had to cancel his highly anticipated, twenty years in the making rematch against Jushin Thunder Liger due to a injury. He became physical at the event though.

Even if Rey Mysterio returns, he will probably be not the winner of the match. Still, his return will be the reason of happiness of many grown-ups faces who grew up watching him 619ing his opponents and flying across the ring.

Whether this will be another one time appearance, or a full time return – we are still to confirm. But, one thing id for sure- Some of them in the rumble is going to eat some 619s.
