The latest installment of Brave Combat Federation’s groundbreaking series Road to Brave comes back this week with an inside look into the preparation of Featherweight contenders Jeremy Kennedy and Danyel Pilò, as they look to make a great impression on Brave 14, on August 18th, in Tangier, Morocco.
Both men are making their promotional debut at The Omnisports Indoor Club, with a possible title shot on the line, and they are aware of the expectations placed on them to make Brave’s Featherweight division one of the most exciting in the promotion.
Road to Brave takes a look at Pilò’s beginnings as a martial artist and how he and his trainers feel about the opportunity in front of them. After running through his competition in the growing Italian MMA scene, Danyel will also make his international debut, in what he admits is the biggest fight of his career.
For Jeremy Kennedy, Brave 14 will provide an opportunity to get back into the win column while cementing himself as one of Brave’s top Featherweights. The Canadian has spent his training camp in the world-famous Xtreme Couture, in Las Vegas, and says the biggest difference between him and his opponent is the level of competition.
“My opponent’s a pretty good fighter, he has kind of the same record I have. The difference is in the level of competition we’ve faced. I think he’s going to have trouble coming into an international promotion, against a tough guy, and these are the kinds of tests I already passed”, says a confident Kennedy, lauded by his coaches as a “hard worker and talented fighter”.
