Former UFC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz has had a career plagued with injuries. These injuries have resulted in him not fighting since December 30, 2016, at UFC 207 where he lost his title in dominant fashion against then prospect Cody ‘No Love’ Garbrandt.
But now former champion Cruz has again struck bad luck as he has now pulled out of his fight against Josh Linekar at UFC 233 that was supposed to take place on January 26, 2019, at Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
He revealed that he had suffered two torn ligaments in his right shoulder during a sparring session for which he has to undergo surgery.
Dominick Cruz took to Twitter to ask fans for their thoughts and prayer as he goes in for shoulder surgery.
