Former boxer Paulie Malignaggi has been assigned as Artem Lobov’s next opponent – the two are going to headline the 22nd June event for BKFC as they look to prove a point and pursue their own agendas.

Conor McGregor, friend and training partner of Artem Lobov reacted to Lobov’s win at BKFC. In a tweet, he said that he was proud of Lobov and that it was an amazing fight. He then naturally took a shot at Malignaggi saying that “Paulie’s nice and quiet all of a sudden”. He went on to say that Lobov should get a new contract for his next bout – a better one and that he deserved it.

Malignaggi and McGregor have had problems in the past, and those problems have now come down to Lobov and Malignaggi. Lobov will want to defend his friend’s honour, while Malignaggi will want to send a message to McGregor by taking out Artem Lobov at the 22nd June event when they meet.
