An undefeated Russian MMA fighter is the latest addition to the ranks of the UFC. Ivan Shtyrkov has been thoroughly impressive in his fights in the MMA scene in Russia. The fighter will be joining the ranks of fighters such as Khabib Nurmagomedov in representing Russia in the UFC.
Ivan ‘Ural Hulk’ Shtyrkov has an extremely impressive 15-0-1 record heading into his stint with the UFC. He has had a number of impressive fights on his record, with wins over fighters like Thiago Silva and Antonio Silva.
In 2018, Shtyrkov has a huge record of 3 wins and 1 draw. The fighter started his professional career fighting for Titov Boxing Promotion, before moving on to RCC Boxing Promotion, and then Russian Cagefighting Championships.
According to the report, Ivan Shtyrkov will be signing with the UFC to compete in their Light Heavyweight Division. The Light Heavyweight Division of UFC is chock full of young talent, as well as a few veterans. The bodybuilder turned MMA fighter will certainly not be lacking for competition.

The current Title picture in the Light Heavyweight Division sees Jon Jones perched at the top of the division. However, a title fight is far from the first thing that Shtyrkov will be thinking about, as he will first have to prove himself to the UFC faithful and Dana White.
