If there is one entity in the combat sports fraternity that has never been shy from lashing out at Jake Paul, its Claressa Shields (11–0, 2 KO). Women boxing’s unquestioned greatest, who has held the undisputed world championship in both the female light middleweight and female middleweight, as well as the unified champion in female super middleweight category, has always been vocal towards beating up Jake in a fight. Even though a male vs female bout is not possible, given Shields’s records, possibly no boxing or MMA fan would have a doubt about it.

However, in the wake of Shields suffering her first unexpected loss in her professional MMA career at PFL 10, its now Jake Paul who has opened up on his critic with the choicest of words.

Shields, a two-time Olympic gold medallist, had signed a non-tourney lightweight multi-fight contract with Professional Fighters League (PFL) on 30th November last year and made her mixed martial arts debut against Brittney Elkin at PFL 4 on 10th June, winning her much-awaited debut.

The 26-year-old, who is revered as the ‘GWOAT’ aka ‘Greatest Woman of All Time’, said last year that she would “whoop Jake Paul’s a**” and will “beat the s**t out of him.” Most recently, the American once again expressed her desire to fight Jake following ‘The Problem Child’ winning his fourth pro boxing bout against Tyron Woodley, an event which also featured WBC, WBO, and IBO female featherweight champion Amanda Serrano defending her belts against Yamileth Mercado via unanimous decision.

Despite the multiple verbal missiles coming from Shields, Jake was only non-reactive and was engaged in the scuffle with other big names in combat sports, until Shields suffered the first loss in her MMA career as well as her combat sports career against Abigail Montes at PFL 10.

Jake Paul says ‘fake’ Claressa Shields is now ‘exposed’, calls Amanda Serrano the ‘GWOAT’

Via a fiery post on Twitter captioned that he ‘loves karma’, Jake compared Shields to MMA greats Ronda Rousey and Conor McGregor, saying that her loss is a result of her anger and hate taking over her. Furthermore, he even called SHields a ‘Prima Donna’ and said that she was more focused on lambasting at him over training for her fight.

On the other hand, the 24-year-old addressed Serrano as the GWOAT, who is 2-0 in her MMA career, opposed to Shields now being 1-1, and even congratured Montes on defeating Shields and wants her to have her own Twitter handle.

“The truth hurts but it’s necessary. Clarissa Shields is a loser. In MMA, and even more so with her prima donna attitude. The fake always get exposed. Losses come when anger and hate take over. Just ask Rousey and McGregor. She spent more time berating Jake Paul than learning Jiu Jitsu. She’s never been a big draw and unfortunately for her she never will be. Amanda Serrano (the GWOAT) though, has 30 KOs in 42 fights. 2-0 in MMA, both wins by submission. Congrats Abigail Montes on the win,” Jake’s post on Twitter read.
