Finding a UFC betting site isn’t too difficult as you might think.

There are indeed a lot of sportsbooks out there, and they’re all vying for your business on fight night, but that doesn’t mean you have to compare odds and bonuses. For Indian bettors, you will mainly find some sites that play a significant role in reviewing the best betting sites India. These sites will also provide you with some tips on registering with the best betting sites and choosing the best betting sites.

Kevin Holland

Kevin Holland is one of the well-known figures among bettors among the great fighters of the UFC. He recently announced his decision to drop down to the UFC welterweight division. Want to know more? Read on.

Kevin Holland has said he will move down to the welterweight category in the UFC next year. In an Instagram post, Holland stated, he is moving up to the 170lb division. His eight-fight winning streak in 2020 was the culmination of an 8-1 record he had accumulated during his first years in the UFC middleweight division.

However, it was a challenging year for Holland after being crushed on the mat by Derek Brunson and Marvin Vettori. Then he was flash-ko’d by Kyle Daukaus in October but was allowed to go on until he was crushed shortly after that. The rematch with Daukaus was scheduled for this month, but Holland withdrew because of an undisclosed illness, and now he is seeking to reclaim his career.

Having made his MMA debut at that weight, Holland has competed at 170 pounds before. Although he missed weight multiple times during the early phases of his career, he eventually settled at 185 pounds after fighting catchweight fights.

Oren Hodak, president of KO Reps, Holland’s manager, said to MMA Junkie on Wednesday that Holland had visited the UFC Performance Institute for various reasons. Holland, for instance, underwent physical therapy for ailments, underwent concussion clearance testing, and worked with the PI’s team to develop a weight loss transition plan.

Neither Holland nor his opponent have been announced for his UFC welterweight debut. He joins the division without a win in his last three fights, which include unanimous decision defeats to Marvin Vettori and Derek Brunson and a no-contest against Kyle Daukuas.

Holland was temporarily scheduled to fight Daniel Rodriguez at welterweight in early 2020. Despite this, he withdrew due to a shoulder injury. Early in his professional career, Holland competed for promotions like XKO and LFA at 170 pounds.

Besides that, Rodriguez has defeated various well-known opponents, including Tim Means, Dwight Grant, Mike Perry, and Kevin Lee, a past interim championship contender. Despite Rodriguez’s unranked status, another subject of controversy among fans, most agree that he deserves a huge fight next.

It will be an excellent fight for Rodriguez as he takes on Kevin Holland, a two-time UFC champion. As part of the interview, “D-Rod” also revealed his willingness to have a fan-favourite striking war with the 29-year-old when he joins the UFC welterweight roster.

Despite having recently undergone hand surgery and the possibility of needing another, Rodriguez said if Holland fights early in 2022, he is willing to forego another operation.

The Takeaway

While Holland is an excellent wrestler, he has determined that competing for a title at 185 pounds against bigger and stronger wrestlers in the weight division is out of the question. At 170 pounds, Holland has the skills to generate a lot of noise, especially considering he will be fighting smaller opponents. Considering Holland doesn’t appear to be going anywhere in the middleweight division, moving down to welterweight makes perfect sense for him at this stage in his career.
