This week’s UFC main event will be a striker’s delight as Russian Sambo fighter Ankalaev(#6) takes on Thiago Santos(#5) at UFC Vegas 50.
While Thiago Santos is the higher-ranked fighter and has amassed more experience inside the octagon, Magomed is an absolute destroyer. For substance, he’s amassed a 16-1 pro record(7-1 UFC) and captured nine knockouts in his career.
On the other hand, Thiago has been in the UFC since 2013 and boasted an impressive 13-5 record, before meeting the champ, Jon Jones. Since then it has been a slight downhill season for him having lost to Glover Teixeira and then to Alexander Rakic. Although, in his last fight, he defeated Johnny Walker via unanimous decision.
