UFC’s biggest superstar Conor Mcgregor has specially requested UFC to make some belts for his fight against Dustin Poirier which will be taking place at UFC 264.
Last month, McGregor tweeted out that he would like to see a “McGregor Belt” created for his next fight, which is going to be a trilogy bout with Dustin Poirier that would take place at UFC 264 on July 10 in Las Vegas.
Along with the request, McGregor shared a clip from a pre-fight press conference for UFC 196, when he first moved up to welterweight to fight Nate Diaz.
I I feel it’s time to break out this baby for the next fight. I ask the UFC to please create The McGregor belt. I suggest rose gold and rubies. Think patek rare. pic.twitter.com/bGSRBhRwAa

Or yellow gold and emeralds possibly. Might be nice also.
I’m open to design suggestions.

“I feel it’s time to break out this baby for the next fight,” McGregor wrote. “I ask the UFC to please create The McGregor Belt. I suggest rose gold and rubies. Think Patek rare.”
“Or yellow gold and emeralds possibly,” he continued. “Might be nice also. I’m open to design suggestions. Let’s link up, UFC #TheMcGregorBelt”
Conor McGregor is a two-time UFC champion, having previously held the featherweight and lightweight titles. He is the first fighter in UFC history to have held two titles simultaneously.
Conor Mcgregor wants two new belts
There’s a lot on the line for Conor McGregor in his trilogy fight with Dustin Poirier this summer and the Irishman appears ready to up the stakes even more.
Let’s do two belts actually @ufc. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got “The McGregor Belt” currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all new “RMF” belt.
“The Richest Motherfucker Belt”.

In a tweet on Friday, McGregor challenged the UFC to have two belts up for grabs against Poirier. According to “Notorious,” he is currently creating the “McGregor Belt.” And he also plans to have another title, the “Richest Motherf*****” belt.
On Friday, McGregor tweeted, “Let’s do two belts @ufc. Champ Champ always does two. We’ve got ‘The McGregor Belt’ currently in creation, and now we’ve got the all-new ‘RMF’ belt. ‘The Richest Motherf***** Belt’. This way we can put both the rubies and the emeralds to good use.”
“Notorious” then followed up the tweet by writing, “Secretary, get me Harry Winston on the phone.” Winston is a famed American jeweller and founder of his own jewellery company.
McGregor and Poirier currently are tied 1-1 heading into their highly anticipated trilogy fight. McGregor beat Poirier in their first meeting at UFC 178 in 2014, when he needed less than two minutes to put him away. But Poirier avenged the loss when he knocked out McGregor in Round 2 of their rematch at UFC 257 in January.
With Charles Oliveira and Michael Chandler battling for the lightweight title recently vacated by the retired Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 262 on May 15, it seems like Mcgregor and Poirier will also be fighting for something more prestigious than it.
